Mary has been practicing yoga for 18 years and teaching yoga since 2015.

Mary has a long term, evolving relationship with the practice of yoga. She has great respect for the wisdom this practice offers, from the physical aspects, to the energetic and subtle. She believes there is great transformation to be experienced through a dedication to the practice.

She completed her first 200hr teacher training in 2015 in Hatha Raja Yoga here in Scotland and has since had the privilege of studying further with many incredible teachers. Those most inspiring include James Boag, Natalie Rousseau, Stephanie Snyder and most recently Jason Crandell.

Mary spent almost 20 years working in the corporate world alongside teaching yoga, and is passionate about supporting people in building healthy habits. She believes that yoga is one of the ways we can truly connect to ourselves, which is needed in order to meaningfully connect to others – and indeed to that which brings us pleasure!

She strives to continually evolve her teaching practice to deliver her classes with skill, compassion and wholeheartedness. She loves to teach creative vinyasa classes, and has a great interest in meditation, breathwork and the wisdom of nature-all of which are weaved into her classes and workshops.
