We run regular fundraisers to support our work.
Join Us for a Special Yin Yoga Event: Supporting Edinburgh Community Yoga
In February 2023 and April 2024, Norman Blair and Nadine Watton generously shared their time and expertise to host big “Yin Out” events at Walpole Hall in Edinburgh. Each session welcomed over 50 yogis who joined together to move, breathe, and create a sense of community.
Thanks to the incredible support of everyone involved, our April 2024 event raised an amazing £1,380! These funds directly supported our ongoing yoga programs in Craigmillar, led by teacher and project worker, John Arthur.
Your continued support means the world to us. It helps us to nurture and expand our yoga offerings, making a positive impact in our community. We are incredibly grateful to Norman and Nadine for their dedication and generosity.
We are thrilled to announce that they will be hosting another “Yin Out” on Friday, 10th October 2025, to raise vital funds for our work.
Norman Blair is one of the UK’s most experienced Yin yoga teachers, with over two decades of practice. Since 2003, he has been sharing this deeply restorative practice, which invites us to slow down, connect with our bodies, and embrace mindfulness. Nadine Watton has been practising yoga since the late 90’s and sharing the teachings of yoga since 2000. Nadine has made a specialism working with Yin and Restorative yoga.
Yin yoga focuses on holding floor-based postures for several minutes, allowing for deep relaxation and rejuvenation of both body and mind. This two-hour class is a precious opportunity to pause, soften, and recharge. We’d love for you to join us!

We will use any funds raised to support one of our Yoga on Social Prescription classes, Move, Relax, Chat (Chair-Based Yoga), for older adults at The Gyle. This class, taught by the wonderful Frankie and Ali. Their dedication and passion really shines through in this class (and every class), which has become a real community resource for the attendees. It’s waitlisted because those who join don’t leave!! We are incredibly proud of what they have built together and are committed to ensuring that this class continues to thrive long term.
Thank you for your support!
