I have moved in some way for most of my life. I am a dancer, yoga teacher and forever yoga student. I began practising yoga on and off from the age of 16. In 2018 it came floating back in like a guardian angel. I was going through an extremely difficult time in my life and yoga was my only sanctuary. A few months in, I found out that my favourite teacher, Imir Frazer, was doing a yoga teacher training there. It was like a light bulb had gone off. The training was intense and really eye opening. I completed my 200 hour yoga teacher training with Parampara School of Yoga in March 2019 and I have been teaching ever since. Since then I have gone on to complete my 30 hour Yin training in August 2020 and 30 hour Restorative training in April 2021 with Eva Maxine. I am currently on Amy Carmody’s 200 hour online yoga teacher training.
I teach a range of styles including vinyasa flow, slow flow, yin and restorative both in studios across Edinburgh and online. I also work with Steps to Hope via Edinburgh Community Yoga. Steps to Hope are an incredible charity in Edinburgh who are supporting people in addiction recovery. I strive to offer a safe and welcoming space for people to come as they are. My classes are sprinkled with influences from my dance training, moments of quiet contemplation and generally a quote or a “food for thought” phrase. Yoga is so much more than the physical postures and I want to share my passion for this practise with as many people as I can.
