I first came to yoga while at University in 2011, where I giggled my way through a few wobbly classes at the gym. I kept coming back when I realised how much better I felt after every class, and I’ve never looked back!
I began a very dedicated daily home practice for many years, and finally took the plunge to do my 200 hr Teacher Training in South India. Before going to India, I also completed my training in Yoga as Outreach with ECY, learning how to take the benefits of yoga practice to vulnerable populations, and now work as Administrator for ECY, as well as being one of their teachers. In early 2020, I began my 300hr Advanced Teacher Training with my teacher Jason Crandell.
I believe that everyone should have access to good quality, safe and inclusive yoga, and aim to bring more yoga to more people.
Through my work at Edinburgh Community Yoga, I combine my postgraduate study of Social Justice & Community Action at the University of Edinburgh, with my passion and belief that yoga can help to bring people together, empower individuals and create community.
My classes are upbeat, fun and designed to help you learn more about yourself and about the practice of yoga.
