Gillian’s interest in yoga began almost ten years ago during a period of disordered eating and negative body image. She found yoga to be a place to make peace with her body whilst developing trust, respect and appreciation in who she is on and off the mat. As well as teaching yoga Gillian also is a certified health coach specialising in disordered eating and body acceptance.

Gillian’s mission is to make yoga accessible to everyone regardless of gender, age, race, ability, body shape or size. She provides a space where all bodies are celebrated and respected and is particularly interested in supporting those who struggle with body confidence and self-acceptance.

In 2017, Gillian completed her 200-hour teacher training certification from Jyoti Yoga School in Fife and in 2020, completed a 35-hour Yoga for All training with Dianne Bondy and Amber Karnes.

Her classes provide a safe and supportive environment to explore joyful movement with no judgement or expectation to ‘keep up’.
