I began yoga with my mum aged 16 to help me through a challenging teen period and have been enjoying my practice for over 20 years, teaching for 12 and am a Senior Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance Professionals.
I qualified as an Anusara Inspired Yoga Teacher in 2005 with Bridget Woods-Kramer and learnt a lot about alignment and bio-mechanics from her. In 2009 I met John Scott, I still study with him and completed his Ashtanga Teacher Training. Over the years I have enjoyed learning from many great teachers from different asana and pranayama styles, I enjoy teaching gentle and restorative classes as well as more dynamic styles and welcome complete beginners as well as seasoned practitioners to my classes.
My Vinyasa classes have a different focus each week, from the bio-mechanics of back bending to subtler work on the breath. This way students learn to practice intelligently and pain free, gradually cleansing their bodies, supporting their nervous and immune systems and quietening the mind whilst building strength and flexibility.
